Cyril Barbançon
Born in Haute-Savoie in the Alps, Cyril Barbançon spent much of his youth in contact with snow in a rich and rough nature. Sometimes director, sometimes principle cameraman, he has made a dozen animal documentaries for Arte, France 3 and Canal Plus. As Director of Photograpy, his work has appeared in numerous clips and commercials. With his great passion and technical ability, he has initiated several major projects including “Soulcam”, the first radio-controlled airship filming platform.

Jacqueline Farmer
After completing graduate studies in biology and journalism, she worked for the BBC World Service and Radio France International before joining Saint Thomas Productions in 2002, where she has both directed and produced award-winning scientific and natural history projects. She has worked with National Geographic, Discovery, France 2, Arte, Channel Four, NHK, TVE, SVT etc. on many movies and series. She produced and co-directed Hurricane, her first feature film.

Philippe Chapuis
After studying English and cinema at the University of Reading (UK) and at FEMIS (Paris) in screenwriting, Philippe Chapuis works as a scriptwriter and scenario analyst with various production companies. In particular, he directed Antoine Works (Grand Prix Premiers Plans Angers) and La Trêve (CNC Quality Award) as well as several documentaries for cinema and television.

Andy Byatt
Childhood in upstate New York formed a passion for nature and snow, leading to an award-winning film career, including 19 years working for the BBC in the world famous Natural History Unit. Internationally, his films have won numerous awards including both BAFTA and Emmys. He has directed and produced documentaries for most of the world’s leading broadcasters. A key player in The Blue Planet (2001) and producer on Planet Earth (2006), he was co-director of the feature film Deep Blue (2003) and, with Cyril Barbançon and Jacqueline Farmer, the 3D movie Hurricane (2015).

Bryndis Eriksdottir
Native Icelander Bryndis lived in several countries before settling in France where she has lived for 26 years. Adventurous, multilingual, curious and passionate about travel, she joined the team of Saint Thomas Productions on the Snow project in 2017 as the location manager. She organizes all the logistics for the recces and the shooting of the film. She heads up the social media for the film.

Julie Baker
With a degree in filmmaking, Julie worked for the last 20 years in film production as a director and producer. Currently, she is developing scripts for a children’s television series, as well as a drama that focuses on the effects of social media when they are used to bully teens.

Samuel Safa
Samuel SAFA is an award winning composer, working in the domains of films, video games, and live entertainment. Samuel obtained his degree in Musicology in Aix-en-Provence, before continuing his studies at the CNR of Marseille, and finally at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, where he obtained a degree in Film Scoring. He won the Jerry Goldsmith Award for best video game music with his soundtrack for “2Dark”.
